Today’s cellar pick is a 94 point Bordeaux from the epic 2005 vintage. This is a well known Grand Cru of St Emilion and it was quite a find to see that it was still available. Supply is limited so if you are trying to put something excellent in your cellar or just have a fantastic Bordeaux to open in the next 3 years or so, here you go.

2005 Chateau Quinault L’Enclos St. Emilion

“This highly-focused wine exhibits a deep ruby/purple hue in addition to a beautiful bouquet of black raspberries, blueberries, camphor, spring flowers, and spice box. With superb concentration, a hint of minerals, and a lovely textured mouthfeel, it should be approachable in 5-6 years, and age easily for two decades or more.” 94 points – Robert Parker
