One of the many perks of being in The Wine Guild is the opportunity to get a little closer to the trade itself. This can take form in may ways. In the past we have set up appointments for folks at vineyards and wineries all over the world. As a Guild member we book these appointments for you as a “trade member” which often results in a much more intimate tour of the facilities. Beyond this we have been able to help folks to attend trade tastings and events.

Yet one of the most exciting things we can offer is the chance to get some hands on wine making experience right here in Virginia with one of our many friends who make wine in this area. Please see below for details on an opportunity to attend Jefferson Vineyards wine blending class coming up here soon. This is a great opportunity to really see what goes in to making the wine that ends up in your bottle no matter where in the world it is coming from.

About Jefferson Vineyards
Jefferson Vineyards is sited on Thomas Jefferson’s original 1774 vineyard sites. Since 1981, we have produced Virginia’s finest wines, earning what Wine Spectator calls “…the region’s most consistent track record.”

The wines we offer you are entirely of Virginia. We do not buy fruit from outside the Commonwealth, nor do we use commercial fruit concentrates or additives to intensify our wines. These choices are true to our values and true to Jefferson’s original vision of fine wines from his beloved Virginia; further, we feel these choices produce a better bottle of wine.
