Open to the public and just $5, our next tasting and pop-up restaurant will feature 6 wines from Tuscany, Italy. We’ll also be offering food from Kitchen Catering and Events and cheese plates by Flora Artisanal Cheese. So, come hungry, bring friends and make a night of it. We love seeing new faces.  We’ll get started at 5:30pm and will go until 8:30ish.

About The Wines:

Tenuta Le Calcinaie Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2014
Citrus, slate, smoke and white flowers abound in a refreshing, crisp Vernaccia. Drink over the next year with fish or vegetarian dishes.
$16.00 (Regularly $20.00)

Tua Rita Rosso Dei Notri 2014
“A juicy, flamboyant wine, the 2014 Rosso di Notri is bursting at the seams with fruit. Black cherry, plums, sweet spices and mint abound in a juicy, intense wine to drink in its youth, while the fruit remains vibrant. The Rosso di Notri is not especially complex, but it sure is delicious. Hints of tobacco, plum, herbs, iron and cedar add nuance as this fleshy, fruit-driven Sangiovese-based blend shows off its personality.” 91 Pts. Wine Advocate – Monica Larner
$18.40 (Regularly $23.00)

Fattoria del Cerro Vino Nobile de Montepulciano 2011
This is the most classic and the most famous wine produced by Fattoria del Cerro. A fascinating wine with aromas of violets, berries, spices with a slight vanilla finish. Pairings: Grilled red and white meats, roasts and aged cheeses
$20.00 (Regularly $25.00)

Castello dei Rampolla Chianti Classico 2013
“Dark, sensual and inviting. Sweet red cherry, plum, smoke, licorice and tobacco flesh out in a pliant Chianti Classico that offers both plenty of fruit and structure. Ideally, you should cellar this until 2017 to allow the full breadth of flavors and textures to open up. The style is rich, intense and powerful to the core.” 91 Pts. Vinous – Antonio Galloni
$25.20 (Regularly $31.50)

Rocca di Frassinello Le Sugheri – Maremma Toscano 2011
“Shows lovely finesse and harmony. Plum and dark cherry notes meld into tobacco, incense and spices. A hint of orange peel adds exotic, floral overtones that are intriguing, while the finish is nicely focused and impeccable. Le Sughere is 50% Sangioveto, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.” 90 Pts. Vinous – Antonio Galloni
$26.39 (Regularly $32.99)

Tenuta Vitanza Brunello di Montalcino Tradizione 2010
What a nose! Aromas of cherry, leather, smoke, rosemary, tomato skin and black pepper billow from the glass. On the palate you’re met with ripe dark cherry and some intriguing tomato leaf. It finishes with grippy tannins, bright acidity, and a long, long finish that will remind you of why you drink wine in the first place.
$42.00 (Regularly $52.50)

Food by Kitchen Catering:

Rigatoni with Pork Bolognese – $14

Roasted Flounder Florentine with Crab – $18
Served over Ribollita
