Open to the public and just $5, our next tasting and pop-up restaurant will feature 7 wines from sunny Spain. We’ll also be offering food from Kitchen Catering and Events and cheese plates by Flora Artisanal Cheese. So, come hungry, bring friends and make a night of it. We love seeing new faces.  We’ll get started at 5:30pm and will go until 8:30ish.

About The Wines:

Painous Brut Cava
Delicate, restrained apple, pear and lemon zest aromas, with hints of smoke and honey. Brisk and firm in the mouth, the apple and pear flavors showing good depth without excess weight. Fresh and chewy on the back, showing good concentration and power.
$12.00 (Regularly $15.00)

2014 Fefinanes Albarino, Rias Baixas
The Albariño grape makes aromatic wines of relatively high acidity. Stone fruit, melon, citrus and passion fruit aromas and flavors are most common.
$16.00 (Regularly $20.00)

2013 Albada Old Vine Garnacha, Calatayud
Intense aromas of red and black berries, spice, vanilla and leather coming from the barrel aging in American Oak. The wine is structured and has a very nice mouthfeel, but the tannins are soft and the finish is long. Enjoy with grilled or roasted meat. Also excellent with grilled vegetables (eggplant for example).
$9.60 (Regularly $12.00)

2013 Anima Negra “AN/2”, Mallorca
Aromas of black cherries, blackberries, and morning forest dew. Go ahead an mock me for that last one. The wine is smooth and balanced on the palate with smokey black fruits, toasty vanilla, and hints of cocoa powder on the long finish.
$20.80 (Regularly $26.00)

2014 Casa Gran del Siurana “GR-174”, Priorat
A blend of Garnacha (Grenache) and Carignan, the nose shows some lovely floral notes and above all plenty of ripe fruit, with a very refreshing menthol touch. Very juicy on the tongue, with lovely sweetness emanating from the ripe fruit.
$17.59 (Regularly $21.99)

2011 Dominio de Atauta, Ribera del Duero
“Seductive, spice-laced aromas of red berries and fresh flowers are complicated by mineral and anise nuances; smells like a ripe pinot noir. Bright cherry and raspberry flavors show very good clarity and pick up smoke and rose pastille nuances with aeration. Becomes sweeter and deeper on the long, sappy finish, which is shaped by velvety tannins that meld smoothly with the wine’s fruit.” 92 Points – Josh Raynolds, Vinous.com
$31.99 (Regularly $39.99)

2005 La Rioja Alta, Rioja Gran Reserva 904
With 11 years of age, this is a real treat. “Intensely perfumed bouquet of candied cherry, vanilla, mocha, cured tobacco and spicecake, with a suave potpourri note becoming stronger in the glass. Offers sweet, penetrating cherry-cola and lavender pastille flavors complicated by hints of smoky minerals and candied licorice. The long, subtly tannic finish delivers noteworthy energy and focus, leaving suave spicecake and cherry liqueur notes behind.” 94 Points – Josh Raynolds, Vinous.com
$44.80 (Regularly $56.00)
