About The Wines:

Berthoumieu Pacherenc du Vic Bilh Sec 2014
Grapes from 50 year old vines are hand harvested and destemmed before aging in 50% stainless steel and 50% new oak. The nose combines citrus and tropical fruit while the palate is lively citrus with ripe fruit richness to bring it into balance. Pair this with tonight’s Seared Scallops over Fettuccine for a great pairing experience.
$13.60 (Regularly $16.99)

Berthoumieu Madiran Haute Tradition 2012
A blend of 60% Tannat, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Pinenc, the grapes are hand harvested and destemmed. The nose offers red fruit and wild berries. On the palate the wine is approachable young, with elegant tannins with great richness and balance. This wine will improve over the next 2-8 years. Pair with tonight’s Cassoulet, Pork Belly or Cheese Plate.
$11.99 (Regularly $14.99)

Berthoumieu Madiran Cuvee Charles de Batz 2012
This is the most classic and the most famous wine produced by Fattoria del Cerro. A fascinating wine with aromas of violets, berries, spices with a slight vanilla finish. Pairings: Grilled red and white meats, roasts and aged cheeses
$17.60 (Regularly $21.99)

Berthoumieu Madiran L’Argelis 2011
100% Tannat from 100 year-old vines. Aged for 18 months in oak, 12 of which are in new oak barrels, the nose offers an intriguing elderberry note with blackberry and spice. On the palate the wine is silky and generous with ample fruit to balance the firm tannins. This wine will improve over the next 20 years and should always have food paired with it. Tonight’s best pairings would be the Cassoulet, Pork Belly or Cheese Plate.
$31.99 (Regularly $39.99)

Berthoumieu Pacherenc du Vic Bilh Doux Charles du Batz 2013
A great match for desserts and cheeses, this late harvest blend of 80% Gros Manseng and 20% Petit Manseng offers dried fruit and hints of almond on the nose. The palate is a glorious sweet ripe peach, followed by a lift of acidity to keep it from being cloying. Pair with tonight’s Cheese Plate. This wine will improve over the next 1-8 years.
$17.99 (Regularly $22.49)
