“A Night In Italy” – Wine Tasting & Pop-Up Restaurant

Open to the public and just $5, you’ll taste the following 6 Italian wines at our next tasting and pop-up restaurant. We’ll also be offering food from Kitchen Catering and Events and cheese plates by Flora Artisanal Cheese. So, come hungry, bring friends and make a night of it. We love seeing new faces. We’ll get started at 5:30pm and will go until 8:30ish.


Gaierhof Pinot Grigio 2014
Straw-yellow with greenish highlights. Really elegant with a suggestive fruit aromas of peach and banana, surrounded by jasmine scent. Complex and well-structured, it is filled with lush flavors and a straight forward acidity in the finish.

Alessandro Rivetto Langhe Arneis Matiré 2013
A straw-yellow color with green reflections. On the nose it is delicate, fruity, and slightly citrusy. It has a fresh, dry flavor and good aromatic persistence. Excellent for before dinner as an aperitif. During a meal, it pairs well with light appetizers and fish.

La Meridiana Barbera d’Asti “Quattro Terre” 2013
Ruby-red with purple highlights. Intense and elegant it recalls black berries and flowers. Dry, medium to high body with soft tannins and good acidity. It’s an excellent wine easy to be enjoyed at lunch and dinner with any pasta dish, cold cuts, red meat and poultry.

Poggio dell’Aquila Rosso di Montalcino 2013
The color is a bright ruby red with soft brown highlights. Intense, it recalls dry fruit and rose petals. Full bodied. Well balanced, persistent with soft but persistent tannins. A perfect complement highly seasoned first courses s well as roasted meats and steaks.

Guado al Melo “Jassarte” IGT 2011
The wine appears a purple-flecked, deep ruby. The nose, multi-layered and quite elegant, is redolent of spices, redcurrant, blueberry, and mint. A crisp, briny note is tasty in the mouth, and it closes with a lengthy finish laden with fragrant dark-fleshed fruit and semi-sweet chocolate. Pairing with soups, boiled meat, poultry roast and grilled meat.

Gaierhof Moscato Giallo 2013
Golden-yellow with bright greenish highlights. Elegant bouquet it is an explosion of the characteristic aroma of Moscato. Sweet, warm and well-balanced, great acidity it remembers jasmine and orang blossom flower. It’s a delicate dessert wine perfect for creamy cakes and fruit tart. It is excellent with fresh and aged cheese served with fruit and honey.
