Open to the public and just $15, our next tasting and pop-up restaurant is a very special Thursday night event featuring the wines from legendary Burgundy, France. We’ll also be offering food from Kitchen Catering and Events and cheese plates by Flora Artisanal Cheese. So, come hungry, bring friends and make a night of it. We love seeing new faces. We’ll get started at 5:30pm and will go until 8:30ish.

Louis Michel Chablis 2014
Reveals notes of white fleshed fruit such as peach, with a mineral structure. On the palate, a stony sensation characterizes this full and pure wine.
$22.40 (Regularly $28.00)

Thierry et Pascale Matrot, Bourgogne Chardonnay 2014
Great as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to charcuterie.
$17.60 (Regularly $22.00)

Domaine Matrot Maranges Vieilles Vignes 2011
The nose has cherry and damp earth w a hint of sap and iron. Swishing shows mostly acid structure, but there is glycerin enough to keep this smooth not sharp. Sipping shows off the tension between the fruit and structure.
$18.62 (Regularly $23.27)
Mongeard-Mugneret Les Narbantons, Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 2012
Smokey nose with earth, cherry and cardamom, tart dried cherry on the attack with earth, black licorice, juicy acidity and mild tannins, finish is long with animal, mushroom, bing cherry and mineral streaks.
$34.08 (Regularly $42.60)

Henri Gouges Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru “Les Pruliers” 2012
Violets, plums, licorice, sweet spices and tar are all woven together in a wine that shows the finesse Nuits can at times achieve. The tannins are firm yet also impeccable in their silkiness. Structurally quite classic, the 2012 will reward cellaring. – 93-96 pts. Antonio Galloni (Vinous)
